Along with iron, these filters also remove heavy metals like Lead and Arsenic from water, making it considerably soft as well.

The Iron Guard B with 20 inch cartridge is recommended for water that is rich in iron, and may have a yellowish or reddish color to it. It also has more than double cartridge longevity than iron guard S, which is half its size at 10 inch.
