How It Works: Filtration Stage Explained

Iron, Sediment & Particle Removal

Hard water carrying dissolved iron, fine dirt, dust, and rust particles flows through a high-capacity spun or wound filter cartridge. This stage captures suspended solids and iron particles, delivering clean, clear water to your solar heater's inlet.

Cartridges are easy to replace by hand - recommended every six months, or sooner depending on your local water quality and daily usage volume.

The Parashu^® Solar Water Heater Filter is compatible with virtually all solar water heater brands and models available in India. Its standard ½-inch input-output connections make installation straightforward — simply fit it at your heater's water inlet.

Beyond protecting your heater, this filter also neutralises chlorine from municipal water supply, making the hot water gentler on skin during bathing. It reduces the etching effect that hard, untreated water causes on metal surfaces — benefiting your taps, valves, and showerheads as well.
