How the 5 stages of purification work
Every stage protects the one after it. Coarse particles are caught first so that the finer membranes downstream stay clean for longer, and the UV chamber sits at the end, where the water is clear enough for ultraviolet light to work at full effect.

Sediment (PP) pre-filter
A polypropylene cartridge traps sand, silt, rust flakes and other suspended particles. This is the first line of defence and keeps visible dirt away from the more sensitive stages.

Is a UF+UV purifier right for your water?
The choice between UF+UV and RO+UV comes down to one measurement: total dissolved solids (TDS). UF and UV remove particles and germs but leave dissolved salts and minerals in the water. Reverse osmosis (RO) removes dissolved salts too, but sends part of the incoming water to the drain as reject. If your water already tastes fine and is not salty, UF+UV is usually all you need.
